The levels

From « le premier bonjour » to feeling right at home.

Every level is built around your goals. The first lesson is there to see where you stand and set a direction; after that, we consolidate level by level, at your own pace.

The first lesson sets the goals

No stressful test: a conversation to understand your starting point, your needs and what you want to reach. We build everything from there.

Then we consolidate, level by level

We move step by step along the A0 → C1 scale.
Each stage is secured before moving to the next — you're never lost.

  1. A0

    Le premier bonjour

    Complete beginner

Starting from zero: your very first words, introducing yourself, greetings, asking a simple question. You leave able to say hello, spell your name and count — your very first sentences in French.

  2. A1

    Le petit café

    Beginner

You hold short everyday conversations: ordering, asking for directions, talking about yourself. You understand simple sentences and make yourself understood in everyday situations.

  3. A2

    L'apéro

    Elementary

You chat more comfortably about familiar things: plans, recent memories, daily life. You tell stories in the past, express your tastes and handle common exchanges without freezing.

  4. B1

    Le dîner qui s'éternise

    Intermediate

You manage on your own: telling stories, explaining, giving your opinion, handling the unexpected. You follow a group conversation and hold your own on topics that matter to you.

  5. B2

    Le débat animé

    Upper intermediate

You argue and add nuance: debating, defending an idea, catching what's implied. You express yourself clearly and in a structured way, even on abstract or current topics.

  6. C1

    Comme à la maison

    Advanced

You're at ease anywhere: humour, nuance, registers — French becomes natural. You juggle innuendo and idioms, in writing as well as speaking.

Shall we find your level together?
