General terms and conditions of sale
Dernière mise à jour : 19 July 2026
These general terms and conditions of sale govern the sale of credits and private lessons in French as a foreign language, provided online by the teacher via the thefleow platform, published by SLB Consulting.
Purpose
These terms and conditions define the conditions for the sale of credits and private French lessons, as well as the rights and obligations of the parties. Any order implies unreserved acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Credits and lessons
Lessons are paid for using credits. The unit is the credit:
- 1 credit corresponds to one 50-minute lesson.
- 0.5 credit corresponds to one 25-minute lesson.
- The credit balance is therefore decimal.
Credits may be purchased individually or in packs. The price per credit decreases depending on the size of the pack.
Price and payment
The applicable prices are those displayed on the Pricing page at the time of the order, expressed in euros. A personalized loyalty rate may be offered to certain long-standing students. Payment is made online, securely, via our Stripe or PayPal providers: no bank card data passes through our servers. An invoice is made available in your space for each purchase.
À confirmerVAT regime depending on the learner's location (international audience: France, European Union, outside the EU) and display of prices excluding or including tax must be confirmed with the accountant, in particular the tax classification of online lessons involving human intervention.
Validity of credits
Purchased credits have no expiry date: they remain usable without any time limit.
Booking, cancellation and rescheduling
Lessons are booked by time slot, either individually according to availability or as a recurring weekly slot. One credit is deducted per lesson. The cancellation and rescheduling rules are as follows:
- Cancellation or rescheduling by the learner more than 10 hours before the lesson: the credit is returned (back to the balance).
- Cancellation by the learner less than 10 hours before the lesson: the credit is lost.
- Unannounced absence (no-show): treated as a cancellation less than 10 hours before the lesson, and the credit is lost.
- Cancellation by the teacher: the credit is always returned.
Conduct of lessons
Lessons take place online, by videoconference via Google Meet. A connection link is provided for each lesson. An Internet connection and suitable equipment are the learner's responsibility.
Right of withdrawal
The sale of services concluded at a distance in principle gives rise to a 14-day right of withdrawal (article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code).
As the lessons are performed as soon as they are booked, the learner expressly waives their right of withdrawal at the time of payment, in accordance with article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code: the order constitutes a request for immediate performance of the service.
Consumer mediation
In accordance with the French Consumer Code, the learner as consumer may use a consumer mediator free of charge in order to seek an amicable resolution of a dispute.
À confirmerThe name and contact details of the subscribed consumer mediator must be provided (subscription is mandatory for sales to consumers).
Applicable law and disputes
These terms and conditions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought as a priority before any legal action.
